Tuesday – This morning we start by driving past the stunning Bluestone National Park, to the bustling town of  Haverfordwest, with wonderful scenery, buildings that tell a story and a grand old castle dominating the landscape – Haverfordwest is a slice of Welsh history. Visit the ancient hillside ruins of Haverfordwest Castle. Walk the riverbanks and marvel at the old buildings. We then continue to St Davids, Britains smallest city. With fantastic attractions such as the beautiful St Davids Cathedral and the Chapel of St Non, said to mark the spot where St David himself was born.

WednesdayFree Day to relax and enjoy your resort of Tenby. A home cooked lunch will served at the hotel.

There is a Half-Day Optional Tour to the National Botanic Gardens of Wales

£10 per person (add to your tour at time of booking)

The remarkable National Botanic Garden of Wales is a very special place. The largest single-span glasshouse in the world designed by Norman Foster, poised in the landscape like a giant raindrop, is home to some of the most endangered plants on the planet from six Mediterranean climate regions, Western Australia, Chile, the Canaries, California, southern Africa and the Mediterranean basin. It helps protect and conserve what is considered to be the best collection of its kind in the northern hemisphere. In Spring the Gardens are alive with swathes of Daffodils and Tulips – the perfect time for a visit.

Thursday – Start the day with scenic tour through the beautiful Preseli Mountains on our way to Cardigan, a thriving market town on the banks of the River Teifii. It boasts a medieval castle, narrow streets, traditional and contemporary shops and the gothic-style Guildhall, which features over 50 shops selling unusual curios.

Friday – We return to home, with comforts stops en-route.
