Scarborough is one of England’s oldest and finest seaside resorts. With a history spanning over a thousand years and surrounded by stunning scenery, it is the undisputed ‘queen of the Yorkshire coast’ with a host of attractions to suit everyone.
The town stands between two splendid bays and is overlooked by a magnificent rugged headland, crowned by a medieval castle. Stroll along the town’s majestic Victorian promenade and wander around its shopping centres, antiques stalls, restaurants and cafés. Discover its formal gardens, regarded to be amongst the best in the country.
The holiday includes a trip on the famous North York Moors Railway, famed as a location setting for Harry Potter. The journey takes you through breath-taking scenery of the North Yorkshire Moors, with time to explore Grosmont Station. The journey then continues to Whitby, with time for Fish & Chips!
