Go WightAway with us for a stylish day out to Royal Ascot Races on Ladies Day.
Gold Cup Day (Ladies Day) is Style and Elegance combined for the height of the Summer social calendar. Although the whole week is a fashion show like no other, it is Thursday when the designer creations and millinery masterpieces reach the greatest heights.
Enjoy a glass of bubbly on the coach as we make our way to Ascot arriving shortly after the gates open.
At 2:00pm see the Royal Procession – an opportunity to see the Queen arrive at Ascot, this can be viewed from the Grandstand and the Silver Ring.
Located two furlongs from the Winning Post, with a less formal atmosphere, the Silver Ring provides a great Royal Ascot experience in a relaxed style. There is a variety of places to eat and drink plus the option to bring your own picnic. Live music plays throughout the day and continues after the racing. Bring your own Bubbly but wine and beer is now allowed.
The first race of the day is at 2:30pm and the last race is at 5:30pm.
After the racing there is a traditional sing along around the Bandstand in the Grandstand and live pop music in the Silver Ring until approximately 6:30pm when we will make a prompt departure for the coach to catch the 9:00pm ferry.
Upgrade to the Grandstand available from an additional £42 per person – Dress code required. IOW Tours recommends the Silver Ring Area – it’s a much better view of the day’s proceedings!
