Ernest Ka’ai: the first classical ukulele player?
(ADVANCED)

The Hawaiian virtuoso Ernest Ka’ai (1881 -1962) wrote the very first ukulele method in 1906. In this workshop participants will learn several pieces by Ka’ai including Haere, Spanish Fandango and the Banjo Schottische. Suitable for anyone who is confident reading tab and playing fingerstyle pieces. For this workshop participants will need a standard re-entrant tuned ukulele (high-gCEA) and a music stand.
